NEW YORK - Designer Jenni Kayne turned an aristocratic-English-hunting-party wardrobe on its ear to great effect. Tweed coats and jackets, for example, were coated in silver Lurex, while a Prince of Wales pattern was digitalized for an abstract grid motif on a silk dress. Cashmere knits came in pop-hued waffle weaves, and ostrich-feather skirts and velvet mules in jewel tones offered a reminder of glamorous dinner dressing.
