Enthralling fashion shows and performances gave a fantastic start to the 10-day Dubai Fashion 2012, being organized by Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE), in association with The Dubai Mall and Paris Gallery.
The highlight on the first day was a Flash Mob activity, in which nearly 50 dancers made quick appearance to perform a song-and-dance show, giving a wonderful welcome to fashion enthusiasts and visitors.
The opening day also saw display of creations by top women’s retailer ‘Bebe’, famous fashion designer Jameela Al Mansour, and prestigious brand ‘I Love Fashion’.
On the second day of the event, creations by Indian couturier Parul Grover, and collections of UAE-based ‘Arushi’ and ‘Dar Sara’ would be showcased.
Dubai-based Arushi is renowned for its graceful wedding dresses. Recently, it added a unique range of evening wear devoted to the Flowers of Paradise.
Dar Sara is a UAE haute couture house which uses only excellent materials from Italy and France to make gowns that add star value to any wardrobe. Each of Dar Sara’s creations involves dedication and creativity.
Indian designer Parul Grover, who first showcased her designs in 2007, will present creations under her Label 24. Gorver’s collections combine intricate craftsmanship with modern styles and bring out the inner beauty of the wearer. Her creations have feminine designs and soft colours.
