Adidas Originals Collection for Opening Ceremony - First Look

Adidas Originals Collection for Opening Ceremony - First Look

London 2012 Summer Olympic Games - Adidas Originals announced the new collaboration with the New York retailer Opening Ceremony. Opening Ceremony will reinterpret iconic adidas Originals silhouettes to create a premium capsule collection for multiple seasons.

A first Adidas collection for Fall-Winter 2012/2013 —which is expected to continue over several seasons—will draw inspiration from "the word of cycling and swimming associated with 1990s street wear.”
Adidas Originals is the authentic lifestyle brand, symbolized by the Trefoil bringing heritage styles of the Adidas history back to life in a way that is relevant to today’s stylish consumers. Opening Ceremony is comprised of multi-branded retail stores and has its own in-house collection. The philosophy and name behind Opening Ceremony are linked to the mission statement of the Olympic Games. Founded under the guise of creatively merging sports, business and global participation, Opening Ceremony takes from this foundation and applies these elements towards fashion.

Made up of approximately 100 pieces, both footwear and apparel, the capsule collection will launch in selected fashion retail accounts as well as both Adidas Originals and Opening Ceremony stores in July 2012.!
